1. Hardware setup


You need four pieces of hardware:


You can use any Raspberry Pi model you want - all of them are compatible. NOTE: To run the Raspberry Pi, you need an additional SD card (at least 4GB) and a power supply (MicroUSB, at least 1A).

Here is how to connect the transmitter to the raspberry pi:


An additional antenna at the transmitter results a great improvment of the wireless range! It can be connected at the hole in the top right corner labeled ANT.
You can connect the transmitter to the Raspberry Pi with the jumper wires or you solder a small adapter like the one below to plug it on your Raspberry Pi.
